We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Data Administrator to join our busy laboratory department. This is an important role, ensuring accurate data input, tracking projects, and quality control as part of our geotechnical laboratory testing processes. This position is based at our head office in Great Yarmouth; therefore, you must hold the right to work in the UK and be situated in the local area.
Your responsibilities:
- Data input, tracking projects, and quality control
- Liaising with laboratory and reporting staff where necessary
- Assisting with equipment tracking and ordering
- Support preparation of UKAS assessments and other audits
- Be point of contact for all data shipments
- Responsible for the archive of projects and data management
- Assist with the maintenance of the quality management system
- Provide additional administrative support as required
Your qualities and experience:
- Level 2+ Maths and English
- MS Office Experience (Word, Excel)
- Willingness to learn and be adaptable
- Effective communication and strong IT skills
- Previous data administration experience preferred but not essential
- The ability to meet deadlines and work positively and accurately under pressure
