Job Type: Temp to Perm (12-week trial period leading to a permanent contract)
Shifts:
- Initial training on days: 10:00am - 5:30pm
- Then moving to double day shifts: Early: 6:00am - 1:30pm, Late: 1:30pm - 9:00pm
- Night shift option (if preferred): 4 nights per week, 9:00pm - 6:00am
About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Digital Print Operator to join a busy digital print department at a fast-paced production site in Sheffield. This is a great opportunity for someone who is technically minded, IT literate, and looking to build a long-term career within the print industry. You will be trained to operate high-end digital print presses, ensuring that all work is completed to exact specifications and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate digital presses in line with job specs
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Monitor press performance and report any maintenance issues
- Record and report reprints and wastage
- Work independently while supporting the wider print team
- Maintain uptime of equipment and proactively resolve issues
What We Are Looking For:
- A positive, reliable attitude with a strong work ethic

- Physically fit and able to work on your feet
- Comfortable working under pressure in a production environment
- IT literate - comfortable using PC-based systems

Additional Info:
You will be working as part of a well-established team in a modern facility. There is a strong possibility of a permanent contract after 12 weeks for the right candidate. Flexibility to work different shifts and some overtime when required is essential.
