As the Transport Manager’s go-to person at our Goldthorpe Distribution Centre, you’ll manage all our drivers and logistics assistants to make sure we meet our targets and ensure the smooth running of our transport department servicing 102 stores. Focused and full of energy, you’ll naturally get the best out of people. With great communication skills, everyone will know exactly what’s expected of them and understand their tasks. This way, you’ll help the Transport Manager to achieve a co-operative working environment, first-class service levels and impressive efficiency. We’re investing in brilliant new distribution centres and first-class equipment. So you’ll have everything you need to keep things moving efficiently. We do things our own way at Aldi. But whatever we’re doing, we must be getting it right. With a wave of impressive sales figures behind us, we’re opening new stores at lightning speed. And without our talented Warehouse Operations team, there’d simply be no products in those stores. But you won’t just help others develop. With an eye on your own future, you’ll also attend planning meetings, organize rotas and stand in for the Transport Manager whenever necessary.
