My client is an international bank, who is looking to hire a Financial Reporting Manager to join the team. You will report directly into the Head of finance, assisting with the preparation and submitting monthly and yearly financial and management accounts.
Prepare and oversee the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with the relevant accounting standard (UK Gaap/ IFRS).
Responsible for the production or review of the annual corporation tax return, quarterly tax payments and quarterly VAT returns. Prepare disclosure notes for the annual financial statements (under UK GAAP/IFRS) including analysis.
Collaborate with external auditors during the audit process, providing them with necessary documentation, explanations, and support to facilitate the completion of the audit in a timely manner.
Establish and maintain robust internal controls over financial reporting processes to safeguard the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
Assist the Regulatory Reporting Manager with the completion of the quarterly FINREP regulatory returns and any other relevant ad-hoc regulatory reports.
