Job Title: Senior Registered Manager Location: Salford Salary: £52,000 per annum Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday (9am – 5pm) Annual Leave: 28 days plus Bank Holidays Extras: £7,500 welcome bonus! As a Senior Registered Manager you will lead your team to ensure that the looked after children have a safe and supportive environment to thrive in. You will ensure that the home meets the standards and expectations of the statement of purpose and ensure the home meets the compliance of the Childrens Homes Regulations and that their care is of high standards. What you’ll get to do: Leadership: Provide strong leadership to a team of staff, ensuring they are motivated and supported. And be an appropriate and inspirational role model to the looked after children. Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of the home, including budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring a safe environment. Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain high standards of care, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices. Safeguarding: Protect the welfare of young people, responding to concerns and ensuring their safety. Collaboration: Build positive relationships with local authorities, schools, and other professionals. Learn and Grow: If you do not hold your level 5 in Leadership and Management you will study towards this to ensure you have all the knowledge and skills to support your teams success!What we’re looking for from you: Your experience: You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of managing an Ofsted home that carries a rating of good or above. Your expertise: You have an NVQ/QCF Level 3 Diploma for the Children’s and Young People’s Workforce or QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification in Children and Young People’s Services. Your focus: You pay attention to detail and never compromise on quality because you know that focusing on the success of small things can add up to have a really big positive impact.
