This is a key role within the Business Services team, responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients and overseeing a team of staff. You will be involved in delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services to a broad range of businesses, supporting them in achieving their financial goals. You will also play a vital part in mentoring junior team members and contributing to the firm’s ongoing growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied portfolio of clients, ensuring timely delivery of services
  • Review and finalise accounts prepared by junior staff
  • Provide business and tax advice to clients
  • Supervise, train and support a team of junior and senior accountants
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Support the firm’s growth through networking and business development activities

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Must have a minimum of 4 years previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong technical knowledge and up-to-date understanding of accounting standards
  • Proven leadership and staff management experience
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
