Male – Care Worker / Driver – 30hrs per week over 4 days (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) – 8.30am to 4.30pm, Ryders Green Methodist Day Centre is looking to appoint a Male Care Worker / Driver, duties will include but are not exclusive to.

  • Driving our 17 seater minibus – D1 Licence required.

  • Assisting with personal care needs.

  • Social activities and entertainment.

  • Completing daily logs and other reporting.

  • Cleaning duties.

  • General activities to ensure the smooth running of the Day Centre.

A flexible approach to working is also important, the successful candidate may be required to work additional hours.

We are a small team and the ability to work well with others is vital.

Whilst experience in working with older disabled people is desirable for the care worker role, the right attitude of care and compassion is essential.
