An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to provide support to a young able female adult Autism and learning difficulties within her own home and within the local community.
As a Personal Assistant your duties will include supporting with all aspects of daily life, supporting voluntary work, accessing the community, occasional days out to events, and social activities.
We are looking for a caring, proactive and motivated individual with a passion for supporting others.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential, but a positive attitude and good work ethic is essential. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A driver with a full clean license is required.
This is a part time position for up to 6 hours per week (to be worked on each Friday but will consider other days) with an hourly rate of £11.44 plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and workplace pension scheme. Reasonable expenses paid by employer. Payments are made 4 weekly through the Direct Payment scheme.
