An exciting opportunity for experienced Electricians to join our dynamic engineering team!

Location: Glasgow

Contract: Permanent, Full-time, 40 hours per week

Salary: £35,000 per annum + overtime and benefits.

We are excited to welcome an experienced Electrician to our expanding Engineering family as a Mobile Electrical Engineer. This role offers a variety of tasks and challenges, ensuring that no two days are the same.

As a Mobile Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Upgrading and installing electrical systems
  • Performing maintenance work, inspections, and fault-finding across a portfolio of clients within the Scottish Government
  • Keeping clients informed of any developments and recording all activities, including remedial works and inspection logs
  • Ensuring a high level of customer service
  • Conducting safety assessments and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
  • Providing technical support and training to junior staff
  • Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed
  • Collaborating with other engineers and departments on large-scale projects

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfort with using IT systems to record tasks and updates
  • Level 2 and 3 City and Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation qualifications
  • 17th or 18th Edition certification
  • A valid driving licence

The role comes with a kitted-out company vehicle and fuel card, all funded by the business. You will also receive a company smartphone and PDA upon starting. You will have the ability to work overtime at a competitive rate as well as having the option to join the on-call rota.

The ideal candidate will have experience in facilities management, mobile maintenance, or construction, with project work within a specific region.
