Job Description

Freelance Electrical Estimator – £200-£350/day (DOE)

Location: Various Sites (Domestic Properties – Communal/Close Lighting Blocks)

Job Type: Freelance (Project-Based, Potential for Full-Time Role)

About the Role:

PWS is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team on a freelance basis. The role involves estimating electrical works on domestic properties, with a particular focus on communal and close lighting in residential blocks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for electrical projects

• Survey sites and assess requirements for upcoming works

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure project scope and costs are well-defined

• Ensure estimates comply with relevant safety and industry standards

Requirements:

• ECS Gold Card (mandatory)

• Clean UK Driving Licence

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, particularly in domestic and communal settings

• Proven experience in electrical estimating

• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule

• A company vehicle can be provided if required

Rate: £200 – £350 per day depending on experience.

This is freelance work on a project-to-project basis, but for the right candidate, there may be an opportunity to transition into a permanent full-time role in the future.
