We are recruiting for a Member Communications Manager to join our award-winning DC Team to create and implement communication plans and campaigns for workplace pension clients. These plans will help clients achieve their goals to improve member engagement and support the Asset Management division's growth and retention objectives.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable presenting to and engaging with our members, helping to educate them on their pension savings and options. This role involves regular travel, as you will be meeting members face to face at various locations to provide support and guidance in person.

- Working with the Workplace Member Communications team to maximise the impact and quality of multi-channel communications to support Asset Management's business growth and retention objectives.
- Coordinating and personally delivering successful face-to-face activity with pension scheme members.
- Using client and member feedback, together with market knowledge, to ensure the continuing evolution of client communication plans and the face-to-face activity delivered to members.
- Maintaining a good knowledge of L&G DC pensions proposition and processes, keeping abreast of legislative developments and other market activity.
- Maximising cost effectiveness and employer satisfaction by implementing best practices in all aspects of the development and delivery of communications.
- Ensuring all activity undertaken considers the fair treatment of the end customer.
Who we’re looking for:
- Broad understanding of different media, audiences, and their needs for effective communications.
- Experience and knowledge of DC product solutions and marketplace.
- Proven track record of project and stakeholder management including delivery.
- Corporate client relationship management experience in a product provider, asset manager or EBC/significant intermediary.
- Excellent communication/presentation skills with previous client-facing meeting and presentation experience.
- Professional qualifications in relation to the role are desirable but not essential.
Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you. Here are some of the benefits we offer:
- The opportunity to participate in our annual, performance-related bonus plan and valuable share schemes.
- Generous pension contribution.
- Life assurance.
- Healthcare Plan (permanent employees only).
- At least 25 days holiday, plus public holidays, increasing to 26 days after 2 years' service.
- Competitive family leave.
- Participate in our electric car scheme, which offers employees the option to hire a brand-new electric car through tax-efficient salary sacrifice (permanent employees only).
- Discounts for our own products and at a range of high street stores and online.
At L&G, we believe it’s possible to generate positive returns today while helping to build a better future for all. If you join us, you’ll be part of a welcoming, inclusive culture, with opportunities to collaborate with people of diverse backgrounds, views, and experiences.
