We are now working with a leading global financial services group. They are looking to recruit a Corporate Development Associate into their team.

The Opportunity

To support, and lead aspects of, the origination and execution of Corporate Development opportunities including Mergers & Acquisitions, in line with their corporate and financial strategy.

The type of work you will do will include:

  • Identify, research and evaluate M&A and corporate development opportunities
  • Prepare financial and valuation models for acquisitions
  • Preparation of investment case materials covering strategic, financial and execution considerations
  • Work on deal execution for the acquisition or disposal and project management of deals
  • Remain abreast of key industry developments, including current / rumoured M&A situations

Experience

They are interested in meeting people who will have a background as follows:

  • Investment banking professionals, probably at the 3rd year analyst to associate level
  • Managers from Big Four M&A or Transaction services
  • Corporate development professionals
  • Excellent deal experience
  • Strong financial modelling skills

The main skill is someone who has very good M&A experience. Financial services deal experience would be useful although is not essential for the position.
