Our Client is recruiting for an Area Sales Position to cover the North of UK & IRE (North England, Ireland, Northern Ireland & Scotland). They are a leading manufacturer and supplier of industrial packaging machines supplying into logistics and manufacturing sectors. This role would suit anyone who is client facing the manufacturing/ food manufacturing. It would also suit an electro/ mechanical engineer who has been working in a manufacturing environment where Bags and Sacks could be used for packagaing. Identify and convert new business opportunities using industry knowledge and existing relationships within the Animal Feed, Agricultural, Pet Food, and Industrial Markets. Proactively manage key accounts and prospect for new clients. Secure and manage full plant automation projects over time. Collaborate with a team of two sales managers, reporting directly to the Sales Director. Work independently and alongside external sales and service team members, as well as internal customer service representatives. Sell industrial bagging systems to target markets. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Experience in capital equipment sales. Experience in solution-based sales.
