Freelance Senior Site Manager | Leeds | West Yorkshire | North Yorkshire Unite People Build is working with a client that requires a Freelance Senior Site Manager to oversee either one of two schemes that are commencing in Leeds and the York areas. The project requires the Site Manager to oversee the refurbishment of a commercial office space as the number 1 on site. The project is high-spec commercial office space fit out. Which involves the strip out of existing, 1st & 2nd fix, to turnkey solution to a high standard for the customer Key Responsibilities: * Manage contractors to deliver a quality finish in-line with the programme * Develop thorough understanding of resource allocation. * Attend meetings, ensuring effective communication with the site team * Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and quality standards on-site. * Provide regular project updates to the remote project team * Proactively identify and address potential project risks * Ensure timely completion of project milestones and final delivery. * Key liaison for the customer * Awareness of commercial aspects of the project Qualifications: * Proven experience as a Site Manager, undertaking a project autonomously on site * CSCS card, First Aid, SMSTS, Asbestos Awareness * Knowledge of construction processes, methods and materials. * Excellent organisational and leadership skills. * Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
