We are working with a high-growth, Series A B2B company seeking a commercially-minded, hands-on Senior Pricing Manager to lead pricing strategy and execution across its customer base. This is a strategically important role with direct impact on customer acquisition, profitability, and operational performance. The successful candidate will bring strong analytical skills, commercial insight, and the ability to collaborate across teams to develop bespoke pricing solutions, support strategic deals, and refine the company’s pricing frameworks as it scales. This is an individual contributor role reporting into the VP of Commercial Strategy, with high visibility and cross-functional exposure across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end pricing process for new and existing customer accounts.
- Collaborate with Business Development Managers and Account Managers to create tailored pricing proposals.
- Support commercial negotiations and clearly articulate pricing rationale to clients when required.
- Align pricing recommendations with customer segmentation and overall commercial goals.
- Develop pricing tools and materials to streamline the quoting process.
- Design and implement pricing strategies that enhance customer acquisition, retention, and margin.
- Establish frameworks and metrics to monitor pricing effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities to simplify and optimise pricing structures while maintaining competitiveness.
- Build pricing models, forecasts, and profitability simulations using Excel, SQL, and Python.
- Create dashboards and tools to track pricing performance and inform decision-making.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights for commercial and operational teams.
- Conduct ongoing market and competitor analysis to inform pricing decisions.
- Stay current on industry trends and translate them into pricing strategy improvements.
- Work with internal teams to model cost drivers and understand their impact on pricing.
- Partner with teams across operations, finance, and commercial to ensure pricing is aligned with delivery capabilities, cost structures, and revenue goals.
