The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the supply chain process, from procurement of raw materials to the delivery of finished goods. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a hands-on approach to managing logistics, planning, inventory, and supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives and customer demands.
- Manage procurement, production planning, inventory control, logistics, and distribution operations.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, sales, finance, and engineering.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and logistics partners.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Mitigate supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to address disruptions.
- Utilize ERP systems to enhance data visibility and decision-making.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing supply chain team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics, procurement, and inventory management.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- APICS/CSCP or similar certification is a plus.
