As we scale up our pipeline, we\’re looking for a bilingual (English and Mandarin) Construction Director to lead our delivery operations. This is a rare opportunity to take a senior leadership role in a growing business, helping to shape not only our projects—but also the way we build. About the Role This is more than just project oversight—this is your chance to build a delivery function from the ground up. You’ll lead the execution of multiple residential developments (ranging from 50 to 200+ units), own all aspects of construction performance, and work closely with our Executive Leaders to bring our vision to life. Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all construction activity across live and future developments. Build and grow the internal delivery team. Develop and implement systems for programme control, procurement, cost management, and risk mitigation. Oversee contractor relationships and negotiations, driving quality, value, and golden thread accountability. Ensure compliance with UK construction standards, building regulations, and health & safety legislation. Work collaboratively across design, planning, and development teams to align project goals. Champion innovation in construction methods, sustainability, and operational efficiency. What We’re Looking For Proven track record delivering medium to large-scale complex residential apartment schemes in London (ideally 50–200+ units). 10+ years of construction experience, including leadership at Director or Senior Project Manager level. Strong commercial understanding—able to manage budgets, control costs, and drive value-engineering. Excellent team leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and scale a team. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment—flexible, hands-on, and solution-oriented. Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field; professional accreditation (e.g. CIOB, RICS) a plus. Deep understanding of the London market and its unique planning, supply chain, and logistics context. Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin). Why Join Us?
