Job Title: Entrepreneurship Trainer & Coach
Location: Scotland Central Belt, Remote work/Access to Glasgow Office available and occasional travel required for in person delivery
Contract: Maternity cover fixed term contract (12 months)
Hours: Full Time – 37.5 Hours

Salary range: £35 – £40K (subject to candidate’s experience)
The Role
This is a temporary, 12-month fixed-term maternity leave cover position, with a start date as early as availability allows.
Skillfluence Ltd designs and delivers fast-paced start-up accelerators and supportive entrepreneurship and commercialisation programmes for entrepreneurs, founders and academics. We’re looking for an experienced trainer/facilitator/coach to join our delivery team.
You’ll be delivering transformative entrepreneurship programmes to help individuals develop the vital skills and confidence needed to start and grow their business. You’ll be part of a team delivering prestigious entrepreneurship, start-up and scale-up programmes that contribute to creating sustainable businesses and vibrant enterprise cultures and ecosystems. In this role you’ll make a significant contribution to the effective delivery of our programmes by supporting entrepreneurs in a range of ways including one to one coaching, group coaching, running workshops on business topics, hosting guest speakers and organising events. Some of the programmes you’ll be supporting are IMPACT30 and the female founders’ programmes AccelerateHER , Pathways to Scale , and Scala Ambition . These programmes support early-stage and scaling founders across Scotland and beyond.
Our programmes are usually a combination of online and in-person delivery, so travel is expected as part of this role.

Key Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for cohort engagement, project management, facilitation of workshops, hosting panels, coaching participants, and maintaining an energised and inclusive learning environment.
- Facilitate interactive and engaging workshops, both online and in-person
- Coach and support founders through 1:1 sessions
- Build and nurture supportive, connected cohorts
- Host panels and fireside chats with entrepreneurs and experts
- Adapt delivery in real-time to meet participant needs
- Create a safe and inclusive learning space where participants can show up as themselves
- Bring energy, warmth, and clarity to every session
- Collaborate with the programme team to continuously improve content and delivery
- Support with project management to ensure sessions run smoothly
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who brings both lived founder experience and facilitation expertise. You should be comfortable leading a room, adapting on the fly, and creating meaningful learning experiences that go beyond the slide deck.
Essential Experience & Attributes:
- Proven experience building and energising founder cohorts
- Experience as a founder or deep understanding of the founder journey
- Excellent facilitation and coaching skills (group and 1:1)
- Confident in hosting and moderating panels and discussions
- Deep knowledge of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Scotland
- Growth mindset and solutions-focused attitude
- Skilled at communicating with clarity, empathy, and impact
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Comfortable working independently and self-starting
- Able to learn quickly and work across a variety of topics
- Interest in or openness to supporting our Higher Education (HE) commercialisation delivery in the future
Desirable
- Connections in Scotland’s and UK’s entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystem
- Familiarity with HEI environments and knowledge exchange
