The Role
As an Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll Implementation Specialist, you will serve as an Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll consultant to join our expanding Agile DevOps team. To be successful in this role you should have experience with at least two HCM Cloud projects as a Techno functional expert in the market, especially in UK Payroll. You will also need to come up with design solutions, offer expertise and provide guidance to our clients with the best practices for the successful delivery of the payroll. Moreover, a customer-focused mindset with strong documentation skills and the ability to work independently and unsupervised is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide solutions and configure solutions in Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll.
- Configuration of Payroll fast formula, element design, payroll process flows and calculation cards.
- Supporting the business during Payroll run.
- Assist in working with Oracle SRs guiding SR to resolution.
- Configure the Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll to meet the business needs.
- Be an avid networker who builds and nurtures professional relationships with customers, Oracle, and other partners.
Your Profile
Key skills/knowledge/experience:
- Previous experience in implementation of Oracle HCM Cloud including Core HR, Global Payroll and UK Payroll.
- Strong configuration skills in fast formula, element design, payroll process flows and calculation cards.
- Effective interpersonal skills for interfaces with customers and external functions.
- Demonstrate a detailed understanding of the UK market for IT, digital and business services in Ireland.
- Ability to work with offshore delivery centres and leverage the business’s global alliances across partners for business growth.
- Expert knowledge of Oracle Cloud Fusion Payroll module.
- Good knowledge of how payroll integrates with other Oracle HCM modules including: Recruitment (Taleo); HR Core; Benefits, Compensation and Absence Management.
- Expertise in UK payroll legislation and payroll processing, including manual calculations; year-end processes.
- Understanding of HMRC and external agencies’ requirements and associated submissions in relation to payroll processing, e.g. RTI, BACS.
- Good knowledge of reporting and data extraction tools, e.g. OTBI, BI Publisher.
- Working knowledge of Excel, in particular formulas and v-lookups to reconcile, manipulate and analyse data.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a business or engineering function.
- Oracle Cloud Payroll Certification.
- Thorough knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud modules and their interdependencies with Payroll modules.
- Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills.
- Stakeholder and customer management skills.
- Working proficiency in MS Office applications.
