Net Talent have partnered with a well-known IT Managed Service Provider in Edinburgh who are looking for 1st Line Support Engineers to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a solid foundation in IT support, some commercial experience in a customer facing IT support role, who is looking to further develop and progress their career.
You will be responsible for providing front line support, giving excellent customer service and working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth running of operations and customer satisfaction.
- Provide first-line technical support for users experiencing issues with Windows, Microsoft 365, and Server environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems efficiently and effectively.
- Monitor and maintain IT systems, including regular updates and patches.
- Document and track support requests in the ticketing system, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
- Assist in the onboarding of new users by setting up hardware and software and conducting basic training on company systems.
- Experience providing technical support in an infrastructure environment.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and Server management.
Please note, due to the nature of the job, this is an onsite role, 5 days a week in Edinburgh city centre office and must have a clean driver's license.
