EUC Engineer

EUC Engineer (SCCM / MECM / Intune / Windows 11)

Hybrid Working: 2 days per week required in the office in Birmingham.

DGH Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading global client who are looking for an EUC Engineer to join the team on an initial 6 month contract.

The role will be joining as part of a team that provide the design, development, management and operation of all Desktop Infrastructure including but not limited to Intune, MECM, AD/GPO/GPP, W365, Client Desktop Engineering and configuration, client patching and Desktop AV.

Responsibilities:

– Deployment of OS/applications using Intune or MECM (SCCM)

– Management of all aspects of desktop operating system lifecycle & configuration (including Intune configuration policies)

– 3rd line Application support

– Scoping and undertaking of application packaging

– Acting as a 3rd line technical resource to assist with wide range of project delivery.

Required Skills / Experience:

– Microsoft MECM/SCCM – Microsoft and & 3rd Party Patching, Windows OS Image creation

– Intune modern desktop management

– Active Directory engineering skills including OU design, Group Policy Preferences, Group Policy Objects, DHCP, DNS, WINS, Domain Controller Management and Roles Management

– Application Packaging

– 3rd line application support incl. incident ticket handling

– Scripting expertise – predominantly PowerShell
