RECRUITMENTiQ is working in partnership with a leading structural steelwork and engineering company who are looking for a skilled Blacksmith to join our expanding team. The Role As a Blacksmith, you will play a key role in fabricating and erecting balustrades, railings, gates, and other metalwork across our various sites in the central belt of Scotland. You will also: Perform structural and architectural metalwork for residential and commercial clients Fabricate steel sections including cutting, drilling, grinding, and welding Work from detailed engineering drawings to produce high-quality results Undertake site surveys and assist with installations Work Hours Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Friday: 8:00 am – 3:30 pm Overtime available as required Requirements Valid CSCS card Clean driving licence Proficient in MIG and ARC welding Strong attention to detail and high standards of workmanship Ability to work from engineering drawings and collaborate within a team What We Offer Competitive pay for the right candidate Opportunities for growth within a highly experienced team Exposure to varied projects across residential and commercial sectors This role would suit a dedicated, detail-oriented Fabricator/Blacksmith who takes pride in their work and can uphold the high standards of craftsmanship that our business is known for.
