The predicted salary is between 65000 - 91000 £ per year.
In this role you will lead and manage security design consulting engagements to a professional standard; independently and/or in support of other senior colleagues and Directors. You will be a Subject Matter Expert of electronic security systems and manage security design and installation projects from conception to completion. You will maintain client and company deliverables, ensuring that a high quality is maintained, and the client and company budgets and programmes are met and maintained.
In addition, you will develop and build new and existing client relationships, facilitating where appropriate the introduction and provide additional services.
The successful candidate will:
- Understand and adopt the RIBA security overlay with respect to security consulting deliverables
- Understand implementation of the NPSA approach to security, as well as CPTED and SBD
- Undertake technical security reviews, audits, design surveys, installation inspections and approvals, and other similar tasks, working at client sites and in the office
- Design and specification of physical and electronic security systems to an appropriate level (based on RIBA stages), working in conjunction with specialist engineers within the project design teams
- Have extensive and up-to-date Electronic Security Systems (ESS) product knowledge covering all aspects of technologies utilised when providing and integrating solutions with a demonstrable portfolio
- Proven experience and background in security integration, design, consulting, or engineering, with specific experience in designing electronic and physical security systems
- In-depth knowledge of CCTV, VSS, ACS, PIDS, HVM, and other security technologies, with the ability to integrate, specify, design, and evaluate these systems
- Have thorough knowledge and experience of designing physical security systems including fencing, gates, walls, doors and facades in conjunction with the above electronic measures
- Have a good product-based understanding of systems and components with respect to ESS
- Ability to coordinate, plan, and implement security projects in complex environments - understanding the design considerations with emphasis on operational safety and the security of operating environments
- Show previous experience in CNI sector, involving the setting and delivery of projects and maintenance for integrated physical security solutions
- Fully familiar with industry standards and best practices
The Person:
- Be a member of a recognised industry body such as ASC, Security Institute and be capable of gaining UK Gov security Clearance
- Deliver in-house training and development of new and existing members of staff with respect to developing in-house knowledge via product training days and specialist product suppliers
