An exciting opportunity for a qualified vehicle Master or Diagnostic Technician at our Birmingham based service centre. We are a leading Audi, Volkswagen, SEAT and SKODA specialist with over 30 years of technical experience. Manufacturer training provided. Opportunities for advancement into management roles and professional growth. We offer extremely good rates of pay as a basic salary plus the opportunity to earn bonus.
Job Purpose
To diagnose, repair and service the range of Volkswagen Group vehicles in accordance with Volkswagen group’s work specifications, ensuring customers receive excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out diagnosis and undertaking servicing and repair work on customer vehicles.
- Liaising on work with Service Advisors and customers.
- Working as part of a team and assisting other technicians to help deliver excellent customer service.
- Ensuring effective use of technical knowledge and skills enabling efficient and safe working.
- Maintaining workshop housekeeping standards.
- Accurately completing relevant service documentation, as well as any other appropriate activities as specified.
What we're looking for
- An individual with a desire, character and attitude to succeed.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with either Audi, Volkswagen, SEAT or SKODA brands is preferable or have had experience working as a Diagnostic or Master Technician.
- Full and valid UK driving licence.
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant vehicle maintenance subject.
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Customer service-oriented mindset.
Salary: £36,000 – £50,000 + bonus (Salary + OTE bonus £56,400)
