Team Leader in Buckinghamshire near Gerrards Cross – office based with some flexibility for hybrid working after probation. Up to £35K.
We’re looking for a Team Leader to head up operations for a busy, front office team. Reporting to the Head of Savings, you will be responsible for leading and developing the Customer Services Team to ensure that customers receive a seamless and compliant service. You will have a positive approach to change, be a strong and dynamic team leader, and be committed to excellent customer service. Our client, a savings institution based in Buckinghamshire, is proud to have a culture based around teamwork.
Duties of the Team Leader:
- Lead and motivate a team of 5 while managing operational tasks, optimising resource and workforce planning, delegating effectively, and ensuring capacity aligns with business demands.
- Work with the Customer Services Quality Assurance Champion to deliver training based on feedback from quality assurance checking.
- Ensure any immediate complaints are handled effectively.
The successful individual will possess:
- Previous experience in a customer facing, team management/leadership role within a Bank or Building Society or in the wider financial services sector.
- Strong direct customer services background.
- Proven team leader experience (including work allocation and people and performance management, including the appraisal process).
- Evidence of an ability to manage day to day customer complaints effectively.
- Full clean driving license and car as the office is not easily accessible by public transport.
