Energy Trading Business Analyst (Contractor) – £550pd inside IR35 We are excited to be partnering with a renowned digital consultancy on a long-term project with a global oil major. They are seeking a skilled Energy Trading Business Analyst to support the implementation, optimization, and ongoing enhancement of Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) systems. Based in Birmingham (hybrid working, 3 days onsite), this role involves working closely with traders, risk managers, and IT teams to drive system improvements and ensure compliance with industry regulations such as REMIT, EMIR, and Dodd-Frank. As the successful candidate, you will lead requirements gathering sessions, analyze trading workflows, and act as a vital link between technical teams and business units. Your responsibilities will include supporting the deployment and upgrade of ETRM platforms like OpenLink Endur and Allegro, conducting gap analyses, and creating tailored solutions to optimize processes.
