Salary: £12.00 per hour
Our Client is a professional, hard-working woman with a physical disability who is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Female Personal Assistant to join her team. This is to enable her to live an independent life.
As a Personal Assistant/Carer, you will provide all aspects of care as directed by the client, within her own home, which she shares with her dog.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with personal care – this role is only open to Female applicants
- Supporting with preparation of meals
- Support with light cleaning
- Assisting our client to attend appointments/go shopping
- Assisting with pushing a manual wheelchair on dog walks
- Able to commit to flexible rostering to cover annual leave or short-term absence of other team members
Qualities required:
- Empathetic and caring companion
- Be eligible to work in the United Kingdom
- Excellent communication skills – must have fluent written and spoken English
- Able to learn and meet client’s specific needs
- Reliable with good timekeeping skills
- Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative
- Hygienic and well presented
- Non-Smoker
Hours available:
- Monday: am 07:00-08:00, pm 17:30-19:00
- Tuesday: am 07:00-08:00
- Wednesday: am 07:00-08:00, pm 17:30-18:30
- Thursday: am 07:00-08:00, pm 17:30-19:00
- Saturday: 08:00-09:30
Must be able to work flexibly to cover other team members as required.
NB: Due to the intimate nature of some aspects of this role, this position, under the Equality ACT 2010, is subject to an Occupational Needs Exemption, so that only Females should apply.
Experience preferable but not essential, but must be willing to develop appropriate competences/skills.
