Overview

Forsyth Barnes are supporting a global leader in manufacturing and engineering services, known for their innovation and technical expertise across multiple industries. They are currently seeking a Power BI Report Writer on a contract basis, available for an immediate start. This role will support a key digital transformation initiative, helping to optimise how the business visualises and uses its data.

Responsibilities:

• Install and configure Power BI
• Analyse reporting needs and translate into solutions
• Connect and manage data sources (including Data Lake)
• Define user access and permissions
• Build DAX files and dashboards
• Develop process flows and data logic
• Create report specs and stakeholder mock-ups
• Set up and manage data refresh schedules

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ Power BI experience
• Relevant certifications
• Familiar with Azure Synapse and DevOps
• Strong business/data analysis skills
• Excellent problem-solving and communication
• Experience setting up API data flows
