Our client is an FMCG group who are looking for a bright, commercially minded junior lawyer to join their small, growing legal team. You will be required to be in the office 2-3 days per week and will be based in their central London office. This is a great move for someone looking to make their first move in-house. You will be reporting to the General Counsel & Company Secretary and be responsible for: Managing day-to-day commercial matters Drafting a range of commercial contracts relating to retailers and suppliers, NDAs, variations, SAAS agreements etc Partnering with colleagues in HR, Operations, Corporate, Finance, Procurement and Property/Insurance Advising on data privacy and GDPR matters for the business Supporting on M&A and other corporate transactions Deputising for the Senior Legal Counsel where required Ideally, you will be 2-4 years PQE as a guide, with experience at a top tier law firm preferably with an in-house secondment, or trained in-house as a commercial lawyer. You will be commercially minded with a good grounding in contract law. Training contract seats in commercial, data privacy, competition/regulatory, corporate would be advantageous.
