Delivery Driver

Job Title: Delivery Driver (3.5 Tonne Van) Location: Westerham, Kent Contract Type: Initial 2-Month Contract (Potential to Go Permanent) Client: International Importer & Distributor About the Role: Our client, a leading international importer and distributor based in Westerham, is seeking an experienced and reliable Delivery Driver to join their team on an initial 2-month contract, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of goods to a variety of customers across the region, using a 3.5 tonne van. This role is crucial to the continued success and excellent customer service standards of the business. Key Responsibilities: * Load, secure, and deliver goods efficiently and safely to customer locations * Conduct routine vehicle checks and report any issues * Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely and professional manner * Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary signatures * Communicate effectively with the dispatch and warehouse teams Requirements: * Proven experience as a delivery driver, ideally in a commercial or distribution setting * Must hold a clean UK driving license * Confident driving a 3.5 tonne van * Physically fit and able to handle manual loading/unloading * Good geographical knowledge and/or ability to follow GPS directions * Excellent time management and customer service skills * Commitment to the full duration of the 2-month contract Desirable: * Previous experience working for an importer/distributor or logistics company * Experience using handheld devices or delivery tracking systems Salary & Benefits: * Competitive hourly rate * Monday to Friday working hours * Opportunity for permanent employment based on performance How to Apply: If you are an experienced driver looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to work with a reputable international company, please submit your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience
