Our client is a leading Global Banking Group seeking a Legal Counsel to join their market leading Global Asset Servicing business in London or Manchester. There will be the opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of areas including: fund management, technology, digital assets (crypto and tokenized assets), global outsourcing, custody, trusts and safekeeping, securities lending, FX etc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and negotiate a variety of contracts and other related agreements, supported by the wider legal team.
  • Work closely with business colleagues in evaluating and supporting the implementation of new technologies and business strategies.

Candidate Profile

  • A qualified lawyer.
  • Experience of Outsourcing / Commercial / Procurement contracts within financial services or private practice.
  • Transactional experience and contract drafting and negotiation.
  • Experience of other aspects of Custody / Collateral / Digital Assets would be a plus.
