We are looking for a hands-on Abnormal Load Delivery and Collection Specialist to assist with the nationwide delivery and collection of wide-load Coldstores. Youll be responsible for planning and overseeing loading/unloading at customer sites, including determining the most efficient method, working with HGV drivers, and conducting site surveys. Key Responsibilities of Abnormal Loads Route Planner: Perform site surveys ahead of deliveries and collections Assist with loading/unloading of assets using cranes, HIAB, or trailers Act as a company representative during sub-contract deliveries Complete paperwork and report any issues or opportunities Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Requirements of Abnormal Loads Route Planner: Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide Flexibility for early starts, late finishes, and occasional overnight stays Experience in escort driving, HGV driving, or operating forklifts (preferred but training available) Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently This is a great opportunity for someone with previous HGV or escort driving experience who enjoys working in a dynamic, customer-facing environment.
