A value-added distributor of converged IP solutions is looking to hire a Sales Account Manager/ Internal Sales Executive to manage their service provider customers, based in Theale, Reading. The company's portfolio of products includes Broadband, Unified Communications, Security, Wireless LAN and Networking Switch products from leading vendors. These products are backed with a comprehensive range of value-added services including certified training, design, pre- and post-sales support and site survey amongst others.
Targeted primarily at the SME and Enterprise markets, these solutions are supplied to System Integrators, Value Added Resellers, Service Providers, Telcos and Online Resellers.
About the position:
The role will be part of a small, dedicated team selling a range of Connectivity products and services into the Service Provider market. This is a market showing substantial growth so this role will combine account management of existing (smaller) customers, assisting with management of larger accounts and prospecting for new customers. Develop new business through pro-actively contacting prospects and engaging at a senior level to sell the company's proposition. Actively manage some smaller existing accounts to ensure repeat business and develop cross selling opportunities within those companies. Liaise with internal departments to facilitate the above. This will include Technical Support, Marketing, Operations and Finance. Resolve customer queries and problems in a satisfactory and timely manner. Meet or exceed the sales targets set by management.
About You:
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a leading IT Specialist Distributor, and will give you the opportunity to progress into a more senior sales role within the business in time. In order to be considered for this role, we are looking for someone with a strong IT sales background, either from working in IT Distribution or for an IT reseller or Vendor. You may have managed channel customers before such as MSPs, IT Resellers or Service Providers. You'll possess strong communication skills, excellent customer service skills and have a strong desire to achieve and exceed targets.
