Hays are recruiting an experienced Accounts Senior for an established, friendly firm in Sawston.The role of a Senior is to prepare accounts, tax returns, VAT returns, and review work for portfolio managers. In this role, you will work within a well-established team, providing high-quality accounting and financial services to our diverse range of clients.Key responsibilities: Managing a dynamic portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial reporting and submissions. Preparation and submission of year-end accounts, Corporation Tax Computations, VAT Returns with precision and efficiency. Build strong relationships with new and established clients. Managing client expectations, carrying out meetings as required. Mentoring and guiding junior team members, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and excellence. Utilising your expertise in accounting software such as Xero and Dext to streamline processes and enhance client experiences.
