Senior C++ Software Engineer – £75-85k – Slough – (hybrid/remote) Hexwired have partnered with an expanding electronics manufacturer based in Slough. They have an exciting suite of products with applications across a range of industries including Medical and Robotics. As a result of continued success and a growing order catalogue, they are looking to expand the software team with a Senior C++ Software Engineer. You’ll join an innovative team and while remaining in a largely hands-on position, this role suits an engineer with prior experience in mentoring/ coaching junior developers. Prior experience in leading projects is also desirable. This is the perfect opportunity for a Senior C++ Software Engineer looking to gain strong responsibility for both current and new projects. Required experience for this role: 5+ years commercial C/C++ experience Experience with the Qt framework for GUI design and development Cross platform development experience (Windows and Linux) Experience with at least one other programming language (C# or Python ideally) Nice to haves: Experience with Embedded Linux Familiarity with CI/CD processes Prior project lead experience Experience mentoring junior employees For this role, the company is able to offer £75-85k, as well as flexible working.
