Weβre looking for a QA Engineer to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the quality of our software. In this role, you'll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing tests to ensure our products meet high standards before release. You'll work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders as part of an Agile SCRUM team, helping to deliver software that meets business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate within an Agile SCRUM team to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Review business requirements and define test conditions based on acceptance criteria.
- Plan and execute different testing phases, including functional, non-functional, and regression testing.
- Communicate effectively with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
- Provide estimates for QA tasks and assess the impact of changes on testing.
- Design and execute test cases, track defects, and analyze results.
- Monitor test progress and report against planned timelines.
- Manage QA and UAT environments, including builds and deployments.
- Support the implementation of automated testing strategies.
- Maintain and update regression test packs.
- Assist the business with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and introduce best practices.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, including data protection, equal opportunities, and health & safety.
Experience & Knowledge required:
- At least 5 years of experience as a QA/Test Analyst in an Agile SCRUM environment.
- Experience using Azure DevOps and working with Azure Test Plans.
- Knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Strong understanding of application lifecycle management and testing best practices.
- Ability to define test techniques for both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Experience in Salesforce testing.
- (Bonus) Experience in the Energy Retail sector (Gas and Power) is a plus!
