QA Automation Engineer – C# / Selenium Hours – 11am – 7pm Predominantly Remote Role Overview: The QA Automation Engineer will develop test approaches, estimates, and plans for complex systems, ensuring alignment with business needs. Key Responsibilities: * Ensure excellence and coherence in software system endpoints. * Provide input on functional requirements and advise on client software design. * Deliver testable requirements and apply appropriate testing techniques. * Lead user story and test case development and execution. * Design, develop, document, and maintain test artifacts. * Create test plans and prepare test data and environments. * Execute automated tests and generate reports. * Analyze test results to identify defects and advise on severity. * Perform defect triage and assess impact and resolution. * Publish effective test metrics for decision-making. * Recommend delivery quality improvements and influence implementation decisions. * Coordinate with team members on-site, off-site, and off-shore. Proficiencies: * QA Automation best practices. * Test Case/Script Design and Implementation. * Business Applications (Microsoft Suite, including Visio, Project). * Strong communication, negotiation, critical thinking, leadership, customer service, and collaboration skills. Qualifications: * 3+ years QA automation experience. * 5+ years QA experience with Test and Issues Management Tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps). * Experience with manual and automated testing procedures and tools. * Knowledge of Agile & Waterfall environments. * Experience with web application architecture and development technologies (JSON, HTML, CSS). * API Testing Methods (Post, Put, Get, Delete). * Knowledge of programming languages (C#, Java) and QA Automation Tools (Selenium). * Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
