As IT Tester for Marlowe Environmental Services, you will be working with our IT Team. You will be responsible for setting the testing roadmap for all core applications and aligning with projects for a successful delivery. Testing will require you to provide end to end testing for core Platforms and supporting system integrations when required. Joining a UK leading business in testing and compliance services, you will be helping to transform and improve application delivery to the business as we move to a reduced set of core systems. You will be working on supporting the existing legacy systems, as well as delivering the testing for all applications. This full time position reports to the Group IT Operations Manager for Marlowe Environmental Services & offers hybrid working from our office in Fazeley, Tamworth for a minimum of 3x days per week.

Key Duties as an IT Tester:
- Create UAT training packs to ensure proper process and customer journey testing.
- Troubleshoot issues to maintain product quality and system reliability.
- Oversee the full testing cycle for projects and daily sprints.
- Develop and execute test strategies, including performance, security, failure mode, operational readiness, and SLA testing.
- Conduct manual and automated testing, updating and maintaining regression packs.
- Collaborate with teams, analyze test results, document findings, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Essential Skills for an IT Tester:
- Minimum 3 years of software testing experience with strong attention to detail.
- Expertise in web application testing, network testing, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Proficiency in drafting test strategies, plans, and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman and automated scripting in JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, and automated testing for web and APIs.
Beneficial Skills for an IT Tester:
- Knowledge of Microsoft/Azure fundamentals (MS-900, AZ-900).
- Experience with firewall configuration (e.g., SonicWALL).
