FLT Operator and Dispatch Operative

Leeds Full-Time No home office possible

Salary: £12.35 per hour
Full Time; Permanent, 39 hours per week
Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm and Friday 8am to 3.30pm
Leeds LS10, West Yorkshire

Profile: Our client, based on the outskirts of Leeds, has been established for over 25 years and is the market leader in the manufacture of furniture for the Hospitality Industry. They manufacture and fit out Hotels with bespoke furniture for clients such as Hilton, Sheraton, Holiday Inn & Crowne Plaza.

Job Purpose: The primary responsibility will be to operate the FLT to load and unload vehicles.

Responsibilities but not limited to:

Loading and unloading vehicles
Picking and packing orders
Using Forklift trucks on a daily basis
Stock Management
Damage Control
Ensuring health and safety obligations are met
Prioritising workload
Hands on approach

Essential Skills:

Counterbalance forklift licence and experience
Experience within a warehouse environment
Experience in timber an advantage
Good level of numeracy and literacy
Willingness to work as part of a team
Able to use your own initiative to ensure you are kept busy
Possess good communication skills
Have the ability to undertake a variety of manual handling tasks
Able to work to targets
