We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead to join a major Finance Systems transformation programme powered by Oracle Fusion. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys getting into the technical detail, actively solving problems, and working closely with both internal teams and implementation partners to ensure smooth delivery. You’ll be responsible for driving forward the technical implementation of Oracle Fusion, working across integration, data migration, and solution design. This is a key delivery role in a complex enterprise environment, where you’ll be expected to contribute code, resolve technical issues, and ensure high standards in everything you deliver. What you’ll be doing: * Take a lead role in technical solution design, hands-on configuration, and customisation of Oracle Fusion components * Build and support integrations, using APIs and middleware (e.g. Azure), between Fusion and other business systems * Lead data migration activities including mapping, transformation, and validation, working closely with business analysts and data teams * Write and review technical documentation, including design specs, integration guides, and migration plans * Contribute directly to coding and development tasks where necessary to maintain velocity and quality * Collaborate closely with project managers, test leads and end users to support testing phases (unit, SIT, UAT) * Troubleshoot technical issues in real-time, providing fixes or workarounds while maintaining project momentum * Oversee release management, version control, and deployment processes across all technical workstreams * Act as a technical point of contact for vendors, ensuring external solutions align with internal standards and requirements Who we’re looking for: * Strong hands-on experience in financial system development and transformation projects * Direct experience delivering technical solutions in Oracle Fusion, ideally including Financials modules * Comfortable working with middleware and integration platforms such as Azure Logic Apps or Oracle OIC * Practical knowledge of data migration techniques, data modelling, and working with large financial datasets * Proactive and delivery-focused, with a willingness to dive into detail and solve technical problems quickly * Experience working as part of cross-functional agile teams in complex, multi-stakeholder environments * Confident communicator with the ability to influence technical direction and articulate complex issues clearly * Familiarity with maintaining RAID logs, technical test scripts, and deployment runbooks Desirable: * Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience * Previous experience on large ERP or finance system implementations in a public sector or enterprise setting
