Head of Technology Operations One of the UK’s most successful and rapidly expanding retail businesses, are seeking a strategically focused, hands-on Technology professional to transform, develop and lead their Technology Operations function. This broad, varied and demanding role entails responsibility for strategy execution and continuous improvement of a technology infrastructure whilst ensuring appropriate security and service levels are maintained. Head of Technology Operations, responsibilities :- Strategic leadership of technology operations function Team leadership and development Infrastructure management Maintenance of a robust security strategy Service delivery Driving continuous improvement Vendor management Cost optimisation Management of disaster recovery plan Stakeholder collaboration Ownership of on-going innovation strategy Head of Technology Operations, candidate requirements Degree level with an in depth understanding of an Azure based infrastructure (networking, security, governance, continuous improvement, cost optimisation) A minimum of 10 years progressive Technology experience A minimum of 3 years Technology leadership experience Ability to create and implement Technology strategy to align with business objectives Thorough knowledge of IT infrastructure, security and service management principles Hands on Microsoft Azure Cloud Environment knowledge Vendor management knowledge Familiarity with a multi site environment (retail preferred) Highly developed communication style Negotiation skills
