As a Vice President in the Private Capital team, you will be responsible for originating, structuring and executing private placements of equity and equity-linked securities for late-stage private companies across sectors. You will lead deal execution efforts, manage junior resources, interface with investors and Clients and play a key role in strategic advisory initiatives relative to private capital raising. This role requires strong analytical skills, transaction experience and a deep understanding of the private capital ecosystem, including private equity, growth equity, venture capital, flexible equity-credit capital and crossover investor dynamics.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end to end execution of private capital transactions, including preparation of marketing materials, financial analysis, investor outreach and deal structuring in conjunction with other country & sector investment banking teams and Equity Capital Markets.
  • Serve as day-to-day point of contact for Clients, coordinating across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive investor due diligence and negotiations.
  • Help advise Clients on timing, valuation, structure and key terms in a private capital context.
  • Manage and expand relationships with private capital providers.
  • Lead and support, as appropriate, in new business origination efforts.
  • Oversee and mentor Analysts and Associates.
  • Support the team in producing internal and external thought leadership on private capital markets.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in investment banking in a private capital or M&A team.
  • Strong understanding of private capital structures.
  • Financial modelling and valuation skills.
  • Proven experience leading transactions.
  • Communication and presentation skills, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial team environment.
