Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs? We are a specialist education recruitment agency seeking dedicated and skilled SEN TAs to join our growing pool of candidates for special needs schools across Cambridge and the wider Cambridgeshire area.

About the Role:

We work closely with a range of specialist settings, including schools supporting pupils with:

  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH)
  • Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)

As part of our talent pool, you will be considered for short-term, long-term, and permanent roles that match your experience and availability.

Responsibilities May Include:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual student needs
  • Assisting with EHCP implementation and behaviour support plans
  • Supporting pupils with personal care or physical needs, where appropriate
  • Helping to create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, therapists and families

Who We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a SEN setting (school, care, or residential) is highly desirable
  • A calm, resilient, and empathetic approach to supporting children
  • A proactive team player with strong communication skills
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, Team Teach, Makaton) are advantageous but not essential
