Join our audit team on a 12-month paid placement as part of your sandwich degree course to gain practical experience. Our placement program offers the chance to work alongside current trainees and experienced team members. You'll receive on-the-job training and access internal courses to support your development. As part of our audit team, you will conduct thorough, risk-focused reviews of clients’ financial records, processes, and controls. Your role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and building stakeholder trust.
Key Responsibilities:
- Become an integral team member from day one, engaging in client work quickly, initially as part of a larger team, then taking on individual responsibilities.
- Take ownership of tasks, preparing you to supervise teams in the future.
- Work with diverse clients, from owner-managed businesses to large listed groups, charities, pension schemes, and not-for-profit organizations.

What We Are Looking For:
- A minimum of 112 UCAS points across 3 A Levels or equivalent Level 3 qualification, or 104 UCAS points across 4 Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers or Irish Leaving Certificate (Higher Level), along with a predicted honours degree.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data methodically.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and remain calm under pressure.
- An interest in business and commerce, with good organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to travel to client sites and other offices as needed.
Please note, RSM does not accept applications with General Studies, AS levels, or the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).
