Concrete Finishers (x2) Lackenby Substation (National Grid Site)

Location:Lackenby Substation
Dates:Wednesday 22nd & Thursday 23rd May

Role Overview

We are looking for two experiencedConcrete Finishersto perform power float finishing on high-precision concrete surfaces at Lackenby Substation. This work requires achieving a surface tolerance of 3mm, so attention to detail and skill are essential. Valid National Grid Persons accreditation is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform power float finishing on concrete to achieve smooth, high-quality surfaces

  • Ensure surface tolerances are within 3mm as per project specifications

  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and site safety

  • Work effectively within the project team to meet deadlines

Requirements

  • Solid experience with power float finishing of concrete

  • Ability to achieve tight surface tolerances (3mm)

  • Valid National Grid Persons accreditation (mandatory)

  • Strong attention to detail and quality
