X4 Technology are partnered with one of the world's leading financial institutions to offer a unique opportunity for a Junior Business Analyst to join their team. This is a long-term, day-rate contract role focused on Generative AI projects, where you'll work alongside data scientists, engineers and product teams to help shape next-generation intelligent banking solutions. This is a rare opportunity to operate at the intersection of technology, data science, delivery and banking - ideal for a tech-literate analyst looking to develop their career in the banking AI space.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product owners, engineers and data scientists to define AI-powered solutions
- Translate complex business needs into clear actionable requirements and data-driven stories
- Engage directly with engineering teams, using your technical understanding to support the development and validation of GenAI tools
Requirements:
- Solid working knowledge of Python, ideally within AI/ML contexts
- Exposure to FastAPI, CICD pipelines, Gitmerge
- Ability to actively contribute to technically focused discussions with engineers
- Familiarity with GenAI concepts (RAG, chunking, prompt engineering, etc)
- Curiosity, adaptability and eagerness to straddle business and tech domains
The role is paying £300-325/d on an inside IR35 basis. The initial contract is for 6 months, with significant scope to extend for the right candidate. First stage interviews are being lined up for W/C 12th May, so please apply online for immediate consideration.
