Are you passionate about energy and sustainability? A leading M&E consultancy in London is seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant to join their dynamic team. This role offers a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and a performance-based bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Energy Audits: Conduct energy audits of properties, identify energy-saving measures, and produce detailed reports.
- Technical Feasibility: Assist with technical feasibility projects and site investigations into utility metering and infrastructure.
- Client Liaison: Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, presenting findings and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Data Analysis: Gather and process utilities consumption data, and review smart metering reports.
- Compliance: Advise clients on compliance with current regulations, British Standards, and statutory obligations.
Daily Duties:
- Conduct site surveys of commercial properties for EPCs and DECs.
- Enter data from site surveys into modelling software and undertake modelling to ensure accurate asset ratings.
- Assist with ESOS assessments and TM44 Air Conditioning Systems Inspections.
- Liaise with utility suppliers and clients, and respond to ad-hoc enquiries.
- Prepare and present energy and sustainability reports for prestige offices and property portfolios.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Qualifications: Preferably BEng or BSc in Building Services Engineering, HND. Membership of CIBSE, EI, or RICS (affiliate).
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, SBEM, IES, and other EPC NCM-based software.
- Experience: Familiarity with building services plant equipment, lighting, and building fabric. Comfortable interrogating BMS systems for energy audit purposes.
