Search Consultancy are looking to recruit manufacturing technicians for our client based in Port Glasgow. These roles offer various shift patterns, excellent rates of pay and for the right person the opportunity of a permanent position. Job Role * Reporting to a Shift Team Manager, successful candidates will work as part of a Shift Manufacturing Team, contributing to defined targets for Activity, Turns, Yield and Cost. * Manufacturing Technician’s will be responsible for wafer fabrication by operating various processing equipment, also performing equipment calibration and routine set-ups. * Successful candidates will work with colleagues from different departments for example, EMG and Process Engineering and collaborate with them to help achieve factory goals. * They will also be responsible for supporting Continuous Improvement activities such as 5S etc, while maintaining safe working practices. Qualifications/Experience * Candidates must possess good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills. * Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable, although not necessary. Benefits/Conditions of Employment * The role is working a continental rotating shift pattern of an average 42 hours per week, with the commensurate shift allowance applied.
