I'm working with a global sports property in football who are looking to recruit a Senior Partnership Development Manager to join their commercial partnerships department. This role will play a key role in driving commercial partnership deals on a global scale. If you are based in the UK or open to relocation, this could be the perfect role for you.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Secure high-value brand partnerships across key sectors, including sales across regional sponsors to global partners.
- Take the lead on negotiations, ensuring deals align with the club’s revenue goals and brand values.
- Management of your own personal sales pipeline alongside insights & commercial strategy departments.
- Work independently but also as part of a wider team to drive deals.
- Keep up to date with the latest trends and sponsorship activity in the wider football market and other sports.
- Attend events and networking opportunities to build and maintain strong relationships.
Candidate Specification:
- 4-5 years partnership sales experience working for a global sports property, ideally football but not limited to.
- Experience in brokering 6-7 figure deals.
- Excellent sales negotiator with the ability to drive commercial partnership deals.
- Flexible in terms of working hours depending on what the role consists of.
