Purchase Ledger Runcorn £28,000 per annum Monday to Friday Join a fabulous teameam as a Purchase Ledger Assistant! Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for numbers and organization? We’re looking for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to play a pivotal role in maintaining our company’s financial integrity. In this dynamic role, you’ll work closely with the finance team to ensure smooth and accurate management of our purchase ledger while supporting key processes like month-end reporting and audits. Why Join Us? You will receivesupport for your professional development, offering study support toward AAT or PL qualifications. Work in a friendly and supportive finance team environment. Utilize your advanced Excel skills and gain valuable experience with SAGE X3 (if you haven’t already). What You’ll Be Doing: Processing supplier invoices and matching them to purchase orders. Reconciling supplier statements and investigating discrepancies. Preparing payment runs and maintaining accurate financial records. Handling supplier queries promptly and professionally. Supporting month-end processes and contributing to annual audits. Managing the administration of shared inboxes and supplier/customer accounts. We’re looking for someone who: Has experience in an Accounts Assistant/Purchase Ledger Role Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and ideally experienced with SAGE X3. Experienced in finance operations, with a good understanding of internal controls and procedures. A clear and effective communicator, able to collaborate seamlessly with finance and non-finance colleagues.
